    I'm not vegetarian, but my 16 year old daughter is. Even if it is not vegan, I do some vegan home for her friendly recipes. One of my favorites is an Indian Dahl. You can do this in several ways, but mostly you just make red lentils as directed adding in sauted onions, spinach (I mostly just buy the frozen kind and drain), turmeric, chili powder , cumin and mustard seeds. I also like to add vegetables Buillion. You can find recipes on Yahoo if you type in Indian Dahl. Served with brown rice, which makes a very full dinner of protein that is rich and healthy as well as dlicieux.PS I personally do not like the taste of Garam Marsala well (an Indian spice I leave aside). You can add more cumin if you want to replace.
